Team Championship Rules
  1. The Team Championship is held in addition to the normal activities of the double race weekend. The Teams are comprised of members from any region /club. There can be more than one team per region/club. The Team Championship will be held during Saturday races only.
  2. The entry fee is $25 per Team.
  3. No more than two (2) cars per class on a Team. No more than five (5) cars on a Team.
  4. Each Team shall have a Team emblem of at least 50 square inches in size displayed on the left side of every Team car. Please submit an emblem with the Team entry form. Try to pick a team name in line with the race theme which is “Attack the Track’.
  5. There shall be no Team entries accepted or changes in the Team membership allowed after the start of racing. All Team members must be listed on the original Team entry form. No driver can be listed on more than one team.
  6. Team scoring points are determined by the number of class finishers each Team member finishes ahead of, up to a maximum of two points. For example: finishing 4th in a class with 13 finishers earns 2 points. Where finishers in a class are only 2 or 3; 1st place will be awarded 2 points.
  7. A rotating team trophy will be awarded to the Team accumulating the highest number of points. Cash awards to individual team members. There will also be prizes awarded to teams finishing first through fourth. In the event due to identical Team points accumulated, the Team with the most first places in class finishers will be declared champion. If a tie still exists, the Team with the most seconds & so on down the line until the tie is broken.
  8. Team entry forms may be collected at Registration.
